Special Thank Yous

PlantCare Donation - 15th May 2025

We had a small jungle delivered today!! We cannot quite believe the generosity of the team at PlantCare who have donated a colossal amount of plants to us today. They have started a community outreach to help provide green spaces and promote wellbeing in schools.

They heard about our work on our learning environments and how we have been trying to fill our school with natural materials and plants and reached out to us with an incredible offer 🪴🌱

We cannot quite believe our luck - these plants are beautiful. There are so many of them and they are so big.

This is their second donation to Mendip Green and this one is a beast! The children were amazed by the jungle that sprung up in the foyer this morning and have had a little chuckle at us trying to move these massive plants around the school today.

Thank you, thank you, PlantCare! We never would have been able to get plants like this into our classrooms without your generosity! Jamie and Vivian, from the PlantCare team, were so lovely. Jamie helped us with the giant tree that you can see in the foyer and gave us a quick lesson in how not to kill the plants (we are going to try so hard to do everything we were told) 💦 💚
