How can we help in school?
- We have a number of uniform items in school which we can be given to families (branded and unbranded). We can also refer directly to Hope Uniform Exchange.
- All stationery is provided by the school.
- Book bags are provided to all new EYFS starters as a gift from our PTA.
- We can support you by providing water bottles and branded book bags (Year 1 and Year 2).
Hope Uniform Exchange
Hope Uniform Exchange is a scheme in Weston-Super-Mare aimed at providing school uniforms and P.E kits to families, and a uniform exchange for all parents to be able to swap pre-loved clothes their children have grown out of.
The Hope Uniform Exchange Project now has its very own shop on Wadham Street in town. The shop can also be used for click and collect orders or referrals from Weston Foodbank or schools in the local area.
Donations of clean uniform, which is in good condition, can also be brought to the school office.
How does it work?
The idea is that parents can exchange school uniform that is too small for uniform that is the correct size OR parents can give a donation for any uniform items their children might need. Parents who receive a referral to Hope Uniform Exchange will receive new items where possible or good quality second hand items.
Any money raised by Hope will go towards buying new school uniform for the referral service. A small part of what is donated goes back into the day-to-day running costs of the project, which are very low, helping many many families across Weston-super-Mare and some surrounding areas.
