Maths

Sumdog Children have full access with their username and password

White Rose Hub WRH forms the basis of our planning in school. The WRH Team has prepared a series of five maths lessons for each year group and will be adding five more each week. Unfortunately, the worksheets to accompany the video clips are no longer available.

IXL UK Some interactive activities to support maths learning at home – there is an option for the computer to read the questions aloud.

English & Phonics

Mr Thorne Does Phonics (Youtube) A series of alphabet letters and sounds. As with all Youtube links, beware of popups, adverts and autoplay.

General

School Radio Listen to BBC Early Years School Radio. Enjoy listening and joining in with songs, stories and rhymes.

Science

British Science Week An activity pack for Early Years (activities are on page 8, onwards)

Explorify Heaps of investigations and quetions to explore. You will need to set up an account but this is free.

Computing

Use a program like Paint to create a self-portrait. This will help with fine motor-skills and mouse control.
Use a program like Word to help the children learn how to type their name. They can also learn how to type a capital letter.
